British model Demi Rose did not let the criticism affect her.

After a video of her catwalk from the Oh Polly Fashion Show in July resurfaced, everyone started talking about the lingerie and swimsuit.

Rose's runway appearance in the show was part of the celebration of the Miami Fashion Week. Once again, she was put in the midst of criticism. Everyone who has seen the video has one question in mind: "Why was her walk so strange?"

In fact, one Twitter user said that "Demi Rose is beautiful, but her runway walk is embarrassing."

The model, 24, was quick to address the comments to her strut. On Twitter, Rose admitted she is not the best runway model and even pointed out that she was extremely nervous at that time that she did not want to go on with the show.

The young model also cited several incidents at the back stage that made it even worse. "My top went missing backstage and my shoes were too big for my height and my size," Rose wrote.

At the time of the show, Demi Rose was dealing with personal issues as well, including the loss of her mom a month before. She continued writing that after the incident, she just wanted to move on and learn from what happened.

"I wanted to push myself out of my comfort zone, make them and myself proud and that takes a lot of bravery, so for that I'm proud of myself because there's a lot that wouldn't have done it," Rose wrote on Twitter.

"But it's done now. I can laugh too but I'm still here and it's all Gucccci!"

Despite the criticism she got, Demi Rose does not regret taking part of the Oh Polly Fashion Show. She said that the show paved the way for her to share her own collection, and that is why she is very grateful for the opportunity that came her way. She ended her post thanking all those who continue to support her.

Months after the embarrassing incident in the catwalk, Rose finds herself hopeful that things would get better in time. She hopes it will not happen again.

Since she started her career in professional modeling, Demi Rose has posted for several men's magazines like Nuts, Zoo, FHM and WorldStar HipHop.
