Floyd Mayweather recently ended his engagement to model Shantel Jackson, and it seems he has shifted his affections to rumored former flame, rapper Lil' Kim.

Mayweather revealed he still has a soft spot for the Brooklyn rapper, when he wished her happy birthday on Instagram. He posted a photo of himself holding up a pair of Swarovski crystal-studded Christian Louboutin high heel shoes he purchased for her.

"Happy Birthday @lilkimthequeenbee," the boxing champion wrote with the photo on July 11.

On July 9, he shared a photo of shopping bags from various luxury brands, including Christian Louboutin, Versace and Gucci, and titled the picture, "light gift shopping."

Lil' Kim released her latest single, Looks Like Money, on the same day Mayweather showed off the lavish gifts he bought for her 39th birthday. On July 11, the Brooklyn native wrote on Twitter that the single was available for free for only 24 hours.

"Here's just a LITTLE gift from ME to U on MY birthday that U guys have been waiting for," Kim tweeted.

Rumors first circulated about Mayweather and the Queen Bee's relationship in 2011. A blog followed their rumored partnership and published a series of photos of the pair together. They also accompanied each other to a party for the BET Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta on October, 2012.

Terez Owens alleges Mayweather ended his engagement with Jackson a month after she was reportedly caught cheating on the boxing champion with Atlanta club promoter Omar Slim. According to Terez Owens, the boxer felt Jackson had used him for his jet plane and other luxuries.

Media Takeout reported Mayweather previously showed interest in Love & Hip Hop Atlanta star Erica Dixon, after she ended her engagement to Atlanta rapper Lil' Scrappy. The boxer, who was named this year's highest paid athlete in Sports Illustrated, flew to Atlanta twice to visit Dixon. An "extremely trustworthy snitch" revealed Mayweather bought lavish gifts for her, but Dixon was not ready to start a relationship with Mayweather until he was ready to fully commit to her.
