Guardians of the Galaxy continues to garner attention for its upcoming release, which won't be until the end of 2014.

While the highly anticipated flick has been under the radar compared to some of Marvel's other comic flicks such as Spiderman and Iron Man, it indeed has the star power to impress from the likes of Benicio Del Toro (The Collector), Djimon (Koranth), Zoe Saldana (Gamora) and Chris Pratt (Peter Quill/Star-Lord), amongst others.

Being that there hasn't been a whole tone of pertinent information released on the movie, Del Toro had no qualms about admitting at San Diego's Comic-Con that he wasn't aware who would be siding with his character, stated Zap2it.

"I don't know if I'm an alley to anybody," he said.

Being that the 47-year-old isn't too keen on the ins and outs of Marvel's superheroe characters, he's made it a point to brush up on the various series in order to better familiarize himself with the product.

"The world of Marvel is as thick as the Bible and War and Peace put together. It's a big project, so I don't know if I have the time to go as deep as I would like to. It's exciting. It's a lot of fun. I've been learning a lot about a bunch of characters. It's kind of cool," Del Toro added.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled to hit the big screen on Aug. 1, 2014. Be sure to keep checking back for more of the latest information on the upcoming blockbuster. An official trailer for the film can be watched below.
