Sadly, Sandra Oh has some bad news for her adoring admirers. While her Netflix show "The Chair" was highly-acclaimed when it dropped, the actress revealed that there's a high chance that there would be no Season 2, and sad to say, the cancellation of the show is not even made known to her.

There will be no second season of the dramedy-comedy Netflix series "The Chair," hinted the actress. Otherwise, there would have been a call already.

According to her comments in an interview with Variety's Awards Circuit Podcast,  it's possible that the whole series has already been cancelled. "No one's called me, so I'm guessing that's not happening," she said.

The more Sandra thought about it, the more she realized how much she would have enjoyed it. Because the scene and the people had already been established, and there are a lot of possibilities with that kind of show.

"'I would have loved it, because I just thought that there was so much material there to potentially explore. Because the setting and the characters were established... I'm just happy that it happened, it was a great experience. But I am sad that it's over," she shared.

In August 2021, the series launched on Netflix and featured "Grey's Anatomy" actress as the first woman of color to lead a failing English department at a major institution.

Even if the show is cancelled though, this does not mean the actress will be left jobless. In fact, an actress of her calibre is unlikely to lose projects."

"The Killing Eve" actress will voice the child lead's protective and pedantic mother in Disney Pixar's next coming-of-age film, Turning Red. It's also the first film in which the animation studio's principal characters are Asian.

She's also gearing up for the release of her highly successful show "Killing Eve's" final season. She's starring opposite Jodie Comer. The show is so successful, there's actually a Korean adaptation of it.

Eve Polastri and Villanelle will continue their cat-and-mouse game, while Eve's boss Carolyn, played by Fiona Shaw, is on the prowl for The Twelve, an international assassination ring.

Sandra was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for her performance as Dr. Ji-yoon Kim in the series.

Ahead of the February 27 series premiere on BBC America and AMC, the trailer shows Villanelle, in her classic style saying flippantly, "I killed two people last night after I tried really hard not to," to which a man replies, 'Okay, well, that's not ideal."

Eve confesses to shooting someone in the hand in the next scene.

When the male in the scene asks her how it felt, she responds, "Like you said it would feel. Want to have sex?"
