Alec Baldwin reportedly made a wrong move that triggered Halyna Hutchins' husband to file the recent lawsuit.

This month, Baldwin received the most damaging lawsuit yet as Hutchins' family finally filed a lawsuit against him. Through their lawyer, Brian Panish, Hutchins alleged that the "Rust" set caused the death of the cinematographer. The wrongful death lawsuit added that the team's reckless behavior and cost-cutting led to the tragedy.

Now, Hutchins' husband, Matt, broke his silence and revealed what led him and his family to submit the lawsuit against the actor.

In the teaser for the new interview with NBC's "Today," Matt spoke up about his rage following Baldwin's ABC interview.

According to the widower, he felt angry as soon as he heard the actor's statements about Hutchins' death. The fact that Baldwin also denied responsibility for the cinematographer's death ignited his wrath.

For Matt, hearing the person -- who held the gun that killed Hutchins - say it was not his fault seems absurd.

Though he is blaming Baldwin over Hutchins' death, he also highlighted other issues that led to his wife's death, including gun safety and the problems in the industry.

The full interview will be released this week, and Matt sounds like he dropped everything he thinks and feels while trying to gain justice for his late wife.

The Latest on Alec Baldwin's Case

Hutchins' family named Baldwin, armorer Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, and assistant director David Halls in the lawsuit. Production companies and producers related to the set were also named on behalf of Hutchins' husband and their son, Andros.

Hutchins' family lawyer blamed Baldwin the most.

"I think it's clear what happened. Alec had the gun in his hand. He shot it. Halyna was killed," Panish said. He also noted that Baldwin and the production broke at least 15 industry standards on the movie's set.

Santa Fe County Sheriff's Office refused to comment on the matter, but its spokesperson Juan Rios said that the investigation into the shooting incident remains open.

Following the filing of the new lawsuit, Baldwin's lawyers defended their client and said that the actor continues to cooperate with the authorities. They also dismissed the claims that he was reckless on the film's set.

Attorney Aaron Dyer added that actors only rely on armorers and prop department professionals. Assistant directors also play a huge role in ensuring gun safety.
