Amanda Seyfried had a jam-packed schedule on Tuesday, which included an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman to promote her new movie, Lovelace.

Before entering Letterman's studio, Amanda somehow twisted her ankle. The actress is seen grimicing in pain after she lost her footing but quickly put on a brave face in front of her fans. (SEE THE PHOTOS.)

The crowd of fans surrounding the studio took notice, and Amanda gave them a thumbs-up, indicating that she was okay. She also took a moment to sign autographs before heading into the TV studio.

Wearing a pink checkered Balmain top and matching ruffled skirt, the 27-year-old actress was more composed on set, as she talked about Lovelace with the talk show host.

"[Linda Lovelace's life] was pretty depressing actually, which is kind of why we made the movie," Seyfried said. "She had a really incredible story, which we didn't really know. We kind of projected our own idea of her."

After talking about her upcoming film, the Mamma Mia! actress mentioned how "amazing" her dog was and that she actually brought him along.

"He balances things on his head...he's going to blow your mind," she said before bringing Finn out on the stage.

The Australian Shepard surprised the audience and Letterman by balancing a hamburger on his head.

Later on in the day, Seyfried, wearing a blue ruffled Givenchy dress, attended the NYC premiere of Lovelace with her father at the Museum of Modern Art.

"It's really to shield him from the boobs," Seyfried joked to Letterman about her choice of guest.

In a red carpet interview with CBS, Seyfried talked about why she decided to play the famous porn star.

"Thought she was a mistreated, misunderstood young woman who got caught up in a really terrible set of circumstances that defined her entire life and I fell for her," she said.

Joining her on the red carpet included co-stars Sharon Stone, Peter Sarsgaard, Demi Mazar and Joan Smalls. Lovelace hits theaters Aug.9. Watch the trailer below.
