Not to be corny or steal another paper's logline or whatever, but stars really ARE just like us sometimes - even if they do get to appear in ethereal conceptual photoshoots like this one.

The beautiful and singularly impactful star Zendaya, an icon at the head of Gen Z's "big stars" list, recently told W Magazine that even she was nervous for her Dune audition with equally popular heartthrob Timothee Chalamet - but not for the reasons you might think.

The Spider-Man star wasn't nervous because she was auditioning with another big celebrity, or for a big-budget movie directed by Denis Villenueve; she was nervous because she had just had her wisdom teeth removed, and she was afraid her breath would stink.

"I had just gotten my wisdom teeth taken out. My biggest fear was that my mouth would be vile, and then I would have to do a scene with Timothée where we have to be really close, and he would smell my possible dry socket breath."

Fortunately, there were no complications, and no dry socket. (Thank goodness, because dry socket apparently hurts like hell, and if she had ended up with it we'd be very impressed she made it to the audition at all.)

Sometimes it's just comforting to hear that even big celebrities have some of the same mundane concerns we do.
