Kim Kardashian  has become a true inspiration. Having grown up before the eyes of America on the show Keeping Up With the Kardashians, we have watched Kim grow into a powerful, inspiring woman. She has taken action to help those in need, she is well on track to becoming a lawyer, and she has proven herself to be a kind and caring parent.

Most recently, the KUWTK star has been in the news in regards to her tumultuous and drawn out divorce with performer Kanye West. The end is in sight for this long process. As is often the way with endings, they inspire reminiscing into the past. Her relationship with Ye is not the first dramatic relationship she has been part of.

I have nothing but absolute respect for Kim Kardashian, but, in a lighthearted, aww-the-memories type way, here is a history of Kim K's most iconic relationship moments through the years.

1. Damon Thomas


Damon Thomas was Kim Kardashian's first husband. While there isn't video footage of any moments of this couple, Kim Kardashian has come out saying that she was high on ecstasy when she and Thomas eloped. There have also been allegations that Thomas abused Kim. The two divorced very shortly after marriage.

2. Ray J


The wedding was not the last time that Kim K did ecstasy. She confessed that, after he divorce, she was on ecstasy again when she made the infamous sex tape with Ray J. The tape was recorded in 2002, and it got leaked after the relationship was over. This relationship, the one that made her famous, ended in 2006.

3. Nick Cannon


Nick Cannon and Kim K dated at an incredibly interesting time. They got together and broke up before the sex tape was released. Therefore, even though she was working as Paris Hilton's assistant at the time, Kim Kardashian was still not a truly household name. However, Cannon is said to have left Kardashian after she lied to him about the existence of the tape. He went on record saying:

 "We talked about this tape...and she told me there was no tape. If she might have been honest with me I might have tried to hold her down and be like, 'That was before me,' because she is a great girl. She is actually one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. But the fact that she lied and told me there was no tape?"

4. Reggie Bush


Reggie Bush was a running back for the Saints. He and Kardashian had a relationship that lasted for approximately three years. Why is Bush particularly memorable because he was the first Kim K boyfriend that was ever documented on Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kim was very broken up over the break-up, but the two spent some very sweet moments together. The two are seen in the video above sharing a kiss when Bush took the Saints to victory in the Super Bowl in 2010.

5. Kris Humphries


Kim Kardashian's relationship with Kris Humphries is the textbook definition of a whirlwind romance. The two dated for only seven months before getting engaged. Once they officially got married, they remained together for only ten months before a messy divorce. According to an article on US, Humphries said that he found Kim Kardashian had only married him for television ratings. The tensions the couple felt are INCREDIBLY evident in their date-night video above.

6. Kanye West


Kim Kardashian started dating Kanye West while she was still married to Kris Humprhies. They had been friends for a long time until he finally made his move by writing a rap about falling in love with her. The two dated for a year, got married, and had four children. They shared even more iconic moments including this unforgettable motorcycle video.

Then came the chaos.

In February of 2021, Kim Kardashian filed for divorce from the performer. While originally the two declared that they intended to split amicably, the time since the filing has proved to be anything but. Kanye has been very public about every step of the process. He has in equal parts criticized Kim Kardashian and sought to win her back. Kim, in this, has attempted more privacy. The official divorce proceedings are still underway. While Kim has been declared legally single, there are still many legal issues that need to be officially worked out among the ex-couple.

7. Pete Davidson


Now, here we are at the modern day. Kim Kardashian is currently dating Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson. The romance between the two is rumored to have begun when Kim K was a guest on the late night sketch show and shared a kiss with Davidson. From that time, speculation began to circulate. The two were seen out and about at amusement parks, restaurants, and various other locations. Davidson officially referred to the soon-to-be lawyer as his girlfriend in an interview with People.

Since that time, the comedian has borne the brunt of numerous threats from West. He has contacted the musician in an attempt to smooth things over, but it all came to nothing. Davidson has declared that his only goal in all of this is to be there for Kim during this difficult time. Honestly, he's a keeper!

It's amazing to see how much Kim has grown through these relationships. While it can be difficult to look back, it really serves as a testament to personal growth and change. Here's to you, Kim!
