Netflix has dropped a new trailer for their docu-series Our Great National Parks. The five-part show will document the most wondrous national parks and wildlife areas our planet has to offer. Much like Planet Earth, it explores the habitats, conservation efforts, and animals that play such an important part in our fragile ecosystem, all hosted by a celebrity who might just give the king of vocalization, Morgan Freeman, a run for his money.

Our Great National Parks has none other than President Barack Obama bringing his soothing charm and caring demeanor to the project as he takes viewers into the vast jungles, forests, and landscapes of Earth. Accompanied by eye-popping footage in stunning high-definition, the series touts some of the most beautiful imagery while educating the masses about how conservaton is the key to our survival. It is so wonderful to see a former President use his popularity and gravitas to enlighten a chaotic world on the brink of ecological disaster. Following in the footsteps of his wife Michelle Obama, who hosted the adorable children's series Netflix's Waffles and Mochi, which taught kids about foods from around the world, their dedication to educate the world is truly inspiring and much needed.

Just from the trailer alone, one learns some amazing information. Who would have thought that a sloth could be the key to finding cures for human diseases thanks to a micro-kingdom living in their fur? Hey, you learn something new everyday.

Netflix's Our Great National Parks is set to release on April 13th.
