While Simon Cowell has yet to address the report surrounding that he got his best friend's wife pregnant, Andrew Silverman has reportedly named been as the co-respondent in divorce papers to Lauren Silverman.

In an interview with the New York Post, Andrew's brother, Alexander said that his sister-in-law's affair with the X Factor judge "is an unbelievable story of betrayal" and "a sad story and a tragic" tale.

Andrew, a real estate developer was reportedly shocked of learning that his close friend went behind his back and in divorce papers filed last month in Manhattan Supreme Court, Andrew cites the adultery as the reason for the breakup.

Lauren "is a total gold digger," a source told the paper, with another saying her "pregnancy [with Simon's child] was by design," and that she's "overjoyed" to be pregnant with Cowell's baby.

The X Factor judge and Lauren met each other seven years ago on a Barbados resort, and he developed a close friendship with her as they were photograph together as recently as a year ago on a boating trip.

Enstars reported the baby news for Cowell Wednesday, with a source indicated that Lauren is almost three months pregnant. 

The source added that the 36-year-old estranged wife plans to pursue a more serious relationship with Cowell now with the baby coming along. 

"Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while," a source said. "As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close."

This could be a life-changing experience for the former American Idol judge who previously said he wasn't fit to be a father. 

"God, no. I couldn't have children. If I had them here drawing on the walls I'd go nuts," Cowell said in 2009. "With kids, you've got a routine you can't escape from. You've got to be up at a certain time. Got to listen. When all you want to do is sit in a corner thinking."
