Star Wars: Episode VII continues to build in anticipation for its very next sequel, which is still a ways away in 2015.

However, that hasn't stopped actors and actresses from taking the opportunity to vye for a role on the future blockbuster.

One of the notable names who would love to come aboard the flick is actress Chloe Moretz, who had been linked to a potential part in the movie along with her Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn.

The 16-year-old spoke to MTV on July 30 about the groundbreaking movie, and even gave a shout out of sorts to JJ Abrams.

"I mean, obviously there's interest. It's Star Wars. I'd kill to be a part of that franchise, but I don't know. JJ, I'll give you my phone number. You can text me."

There's been speculation that Star Wars: Episode VII will be bringing back the likes of Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. However, while the three are expected to eventually join the cast, nothing has yet to be confirmed.

The film's storyline will occur around the time period following the events of Return of the Jedi. It's scheduled to launch on July 15, 2015. A fan-made trailer of the movie can be viewed below.
