Because we can't go a day without Ye, the troubled rapper has now been banned from performing at this year's Grammy Awards. What did he do this time? Let's break it down.

As reported on last week, Kanye West and his constant harassment of ex-wife Kim Kardashian and comedian Pete Davidson caught the ire of The Daily Show's Trevor Noah, who took his time on air to discuss West's erratic behavior and mental health issues in regards to the cycle of abuse West has perpetuated since his devorce. Seeing the verbal abuse as a problem many brush under the rug due to Kardashian's celebrity status, Noah expressed society's disregard for her as an affront to all women in similar situations, all the while hoping Kanye would get the help he so desperately needs.

Ye didn't take it well.

Going on Instagram, Kanye posted a racial slur about Trevor Noah, leading to his brief suspension from the social media site. Evidently, this did not go over well with the good folks at The Grammy Awards who decided the best course of action was to not have him get any stage time, even though West's album Donda has been nominated for five Grammys which include Album of the Year and Best Rap Album.

Always the gentleman, Trevor Noah was cool and collected in his response to the news of Kanye's ban, posting on Twitter, "I said council Kanye not cancel Kanye."

The Grammys air April 3rd at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
