Tory Lanez revealed a heartbreaking health diagnosis after being trolled for having a bald spot on his head.

In the past weeks, Lanez has been receiving hurtful comments about himself turning bald. After enduring it for a long time, the rapper disclosed what is happening to him and what is causing the health issue.

On his Twitter account, Lanez revealed that he - like Jada Pinkett Smith - is suffering from Alopecia.

"I'm fully aware of the bald spot in the back of my head guys, i rap about it all the time ...it's alopecia.... What's the big deal," he said.

Indeed, he has been subject of hurtful jokes due to the hair on his head. In 2018, BET reported that his single, "B.I.D" (stands for "Bust It Down"), talks about his desire to grow his hair back.

He also uploaded a since-deleted video of him playing basketball. At that time, people focused on the fact that he started to go bald after spotting a spot on his head.

His revelation about his alopecia came after he was charged in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday for violating a protective order against Megan. He posted a $350,000 bail, and a trial has been scheduled for September 14.

Alopecia, according to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, occurs when the body attacks its own hair follicles, causing hair loss anywhere on the body. It is the same disease that Jada Pinkett Smith had - something Chris Rock reportedly did not know.

Chris Rock Not Aware of Jada Pinkett Smith's Alopecia, According to His Brother

Lanez's revelation came days after Rock's brother, Kenny Rock, said that the comedian did not know about Pinkett Smith's alopecia.

For what it's worth, Rock joked about Pinkett Smith's hair, saying he could not wait to see "G.I. Jane 2" where the lead star, Demo Moore, cut her hair off. The "King Richard" actor suddenly came up on stage and slapped the comedian.

In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Rock's brother, Kenny, said that he was not aware of the actress's alopecia.

"The joke was funny. It wasn't hilarious funny, but I know that if he knew that she had alopecia ... he wouldn't make a joke about that. But he didn't know," he said.

Smith has since resigned from the Academy following the incident. His upcoming projects were also postponed.
