MLB pitcher Trevor Bauer just filed another lawsuit, this time against his accuser of domestic violence.

Per Radar Online, On Monday, the baseball player sued his accuser, Lindsey Hill, and her lawyer, Niranjan Fred Thiagarajah, in the Central District of California Southern Division, alleging defamation and tortious interference.

The 31-year-old Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher had already filed a defamation action against Deadspin, The Athletic, and former Athletic reporter Molly Knight, which is also relevant to this case.

In the case, Bauer claims that the sexual assault charges were contrived because they pursued bogus criminal and civil activities against him, made false harmful remarks about him, and launched a publicity blitz based on the accuser's "falsehoods."

The lawsuit documents also said that Hill's motivations for making false allegations are apparent - she allegedly wants to harm Bauer's name and career in order to get attention and collect millions of dollars from the sportsman.

"Although a Los Angeles Superior Court Judge dismissed [the accuser's] fraudulent claims and the District Attorney for Los Angeles County determined they were not worthy of criminal prosecution, the harm to Mr. Bauer has been severe."

The Los Angeles District Attorney's Office confirmed in February 2022 that they will not charge Trevor Bauer in connection with the sexual assault charges he faced last year.

Prior to that, a judge in California Superior Court refused Hill's plea for a temporary restraining order.

Trevor Bauer Assault Allegations

Trevor Bauer, the former Cy Young Award winner, was accused of beating and choking a lady unconscious in bed while they were having sexual relations.

The athlete admitted to having rough sex with the accuser but claimed it was consensual.

Bauer's lawyer stated that the athlete received text messages from the accuser "including requests to be 'choked out' and smacked in the face," and that the lady spent the night and left without incident.

They even continued to exchange "friendly" and "flirtatious" banter.

Because of what occurred, MLB and the MLBPA decided in late June to place Trevor Bauer on paid administrative leave. During this season, though, they proceeded to prolong it week after week.

Lindsey Hill allegedly says in her purported police complaint that she was "sexually attacked" and strangled unconscious on two occasions, with Bauer allegedly striking her in the face and vagina and even clawing her face.

Bauer, on the other hand, refuted the charges, claiming that he choked her without her consent and that he hit her in various places of her body.
