Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Ruining Relationship by Rushing Marriage?

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck want to get married soon - but there is one problem.

After rekindling their relationship, Lopez and Affleck seemingly started to have wedding plans to create their own family soon. They also hyped fans by showing signs that the ceremony would happen sooner than expected following their engagement in April.

However, their friends - especially Lopez's -- are purportedly worried that rushing their marriage might ruin their relationship wholly.

A source recently told US Weekly that the actress's pals do not approve of the speedy nuptials. Although Lopez always says she is not rushing to tie the knot, her friends think she would be down once the "Deep Water" star pushes it this summer.

A separate source also told Closer that Affleck has been feeling hesitant to get married, though he wants to wait until next year.

"He and his team have told people it's going to be a fairly long engagement and they're happy just doing their thing without any stress. But that's not really what Jen wants. After what happened last time, she can't help worrying about the wedding being called off at the last minute," the insider added.

Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck Facing More Problems Than Expected?

Aside from their friends and Affleck's issues regarding the wedding, the couple is said to be dealing with issues when it comes to wedding planning.

OK! Magazine reported that Lopez and Affleck have contrasting ideas about what kind of wedding they should have.

Affleck wants them to be involved in the planning. But the "Marry Me" star finds it a hassle.

"Jen isn't used to being flexible and not running the show. But she's learned from her mistakes too. She's conceding this time so he can feel comfortable as they plan their future together," the insider went on.

Fortunately, they somewhat agreed on the destination and theme of the wedding. As of press time, the couple is eyeing to have a tropical wedding.

As for their future home, Lopez and Affleck began house hunting as they both want to have a home in an exclusive, private neighborhood.

For now, Lopez herself could not hide the excitement ahead of her marriage with Affleck. She pledged to have more time to be a "woman, mother, and partner" for the people she loves the most.
