The Queen will greet Harry and Meghan with wide arms when her entire family gathers to celebrate her historic Platinum Jubilee. 

According to sources, the 96-year-old monarch is eager to meet her great-grandchildren, Archie and Lilibet. On the upcoming Saturday, when Lilibet turns one, she is likely to spend time with them in private. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with their children, will remain at their Windsor residence, Frogmore Cottage, a short distance from the Queen's special apartments at the castle. 

The monarch has made it clear that she does not want any family issues to overshadow the four-day national celebration beginning next weekend. 

According to a source, the modest queen desires that the Jubilee bank holiday weekend, which spans from Thursday to Sunday, be "an occasion in which the country, including her own family, comes together."

On Friday, Harry, 37, and Meghan, 40, will attend the national Thanksgiving Service for the Queen at St. Paul's Cathedral. It is believed that the Sussexes would attend at least one additional public engagement, although sources have cautioned the public not to "expect them at every occasion." 

In addition, they will spend time privately with members of the Royal Family, presenting the Prince of Wales to Lilibet for the first time.

He has not seen three-year-old Archie since he was an infant. It is unknown whether the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend time alone with their three children and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. William was reportedly the most affected by his brother's apparent betrayal. 

The Platinum Jubilee will not be a celebration of Her Majesty and her own life, but of the institution of the monarchy and the people who support and perpetuate it, according to an insider.
