Yesterday, the cast of medical comedy show Scrubs reunited for a panel at the ATX TV Festival.

Alongside series creator Bill Lawrence, actors Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, John C. McGinley, Judy Reyes, and Neil Flynn participated in the panel. While onstage, the group admitted to being fully onboard to work together again, much to the fans' delight.

While no formal arrangement has been set down, Lawrence seemed open to the idea. "If you ever have an excuse to work with people you want to spend time with anyway, run to it," he said.

Actor Faison further elaborated, adding, "We all want to work together again, but it wouldn't be a full season. Maybe a movie, something we could do in two months."

Faison's response makes sense. In a Hollywood Reporter article, it was noted that all members of the class have been busy, so trying to set aside enough time to film a full season would've been difficult. (However, it's a testament to the Scrubs cast's closeness that Braff and Faison continue to host a retrospective podcast together called Fake Doctors, Real Friends, despite the show's cancellation in 2010.)

In addition to raising the possibility of a Scrubs reunion, the panel also discussed where the Scrubs characters would be now, and how Scrubs marks a milestone network show that was one of the first to mix comedy and drama.
