What happens when a 40-something-year-old film critic and a 26 year-old former theater major recommend their favorite films to one another? They make a podcast! 

Made You Watch... (a podcast) is the first show to premiere on the Enstarz Podcasting Network. Hosted by Enstarz own Adam Mock and Melanie Weir, these two try to bridge the generation gap in terms of what makes a movie great, bad, or in between.

Every week they challenge one another by sharing a film the other has never seen (and in some cases, never heard of), discussing it, and trying to see eye to eye.

This week, for example, they decided to kick off Pride Month by discussing the 1996 Robin Williams comedy The Birdcage... a film as funny as it is deep. 

With wildly different tastes, each episode is a lively look into what makes different movie-watchers. 

Adam has been around the block in the film industry since the late 90s, working as a carpenter, set dresser, stagehand, and film critic. Meanwhile, Melanie was busy being born, mastering the English language and Acting like a person well enough to get a degree in both, and becoming a Disney-loving entertainment journalist and editor.

After weeks of what started as playful disagreements about movies and generation gaps while toiling away at their keyboards, these two decided to put their love for cinema to the test and try to see eye to eye, sharing their vastly different points of view with the podcast listening audience. 

Made You Watch... (a podcast) is as funny as it is insightful, and with a back catalog which includes discussions about Office Space, Legally Blonde, Speed, Encanto, The Fifth Element, and a wild special episode where Adam puts himself through the entire Twilight Franchise, there is truly something for everyone.
