"He's a 9," is trending on Twitter, and it is hilariously accurate.

Sometimes in the ebbs and flows of our collective consciousness, we happen upon a hilarious universal experience. Someone manages to call out *the* thing that we have all lived, we all know, we all experience on the day to day, but no one has previously called to the forefront. Once someone does, the world explodes.

That is what has happened with the current, "He's a 9," trend.

We all have that friend (heck, we've all been that friend) that turns to share with the people in her life about the new guy that she is dating. In first discriptions, we make them sound perfect. However, through the sea of this professed perfection, we slowly start to add in the imperfections that are notible.

Twitter has taken to pointing out this cultural quirk, sharing, "He's a 9," followed by reasons one would not be considered a ten despite being nearly flawless.

In pointing out the problems with someone through the rose-colored glasses lens of perfection, people tend to make the issues seem small. This trend points out that most of these initial, "small," issues are actually GIGANTIC red flags.

One user posted, "He's a 9 but he's completely self absorbed and has no interpersonal skills, stemming from a life of people saying he's a 9 and thinking that actually matters."

The Tweets go on!
