Children of the 90s have yet another nostalgia sequel to get excited about in the coming months.

Disney+ has just dropped the first trailer for Hocus Pocus 2, the long-awaited sequel to the 1993 children's horror comedy about a group of kids who accidentally resurrect a coven of witches called the Sanderson Sisters, who were executed back in the 17th century.

Aided by a boy who was cursed to live as a cat, the kids have until sunrise to stop the witches from coming back for good and wreaking havoc on the town.

This popular film starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the bumbling Sanderson Sisters, who will stop at nothing to get their revenge on the town of Salem, Massachusetts.

In this new film, it seems two girls, who were told by Sam Richardson that witches come of age at 16, perform the ritual, not knowing what the consequences are.

The rest of the trailer gives very little other than shots of the witches getting back into the swing of things. We can only imagine that the story will have a similar plotline, with modern day jokes for the witches to play off of.

Hocus Pocus 2 is directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal) and written by Jen D'Angelo (Workaholics) and stars Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Doug Jones (Star Trek: Discovery), Tony Hale (Veep), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl), Lilia Buckingham (Crown Lake), and Froy Gutierrez (Teen Wolf).

Hocus Pocus 2 is scheduled to begin streaming on Disney+ beginning September 30.
