Alex Edelman and Stephen Colbert are heading to the 92Y.

Alex Edelman is the comedian, writer, and actor that is currently in the middle of his second extension of his comedy show Just For Us. The show has captivated audiences everywhere, masterfully utilizing the perfect amount of comedy and heart to tell a powerful story. It is directed by Adam Brace, and it is produced by Mike Birbiglia, one of Edelman's self described favorite comedians.

Birbiglia's comedy is known for being incredibly personal and honest, so it makes sense that he is producing this incredibly open and telling piece of mastery. As is described on the show's website, through Just For Us, Edelman takes the audience through stories of:

"His Olympian brother AJ, an unconventional holiday season, and a gorilla that can do sign language - but at its center is an astonishing and frighteningly relevant story. After a string of anti-Semitic abuse is directed at Edelman online, he decides to covertly attend a gathering of White Nationalists in New York City, and comes face to face with the people behind the keyboards. The result is a hair-raising encounter that gives Just For Us its title, and final, jaw-dropping twist."

The show is a New York Times Critic's Pick. Edelman performed a piece of the show on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

Now, he and Colbert are set to venture to the 92Y to talk about the show. The event will take place on July 17th at 6PM.

Tickets to Just For Us can be purchased here. It is currently running at the Greenwich House Theatre until August 26th.
