Gabby Petito's parents, Chris and Roberta Laundrie, are seeking some unexpected and difficult things from Brian Laundrie's mother and father.

Nichole Schmidt and Joe Petito, according to Radar Online, want to know every communication the Laundries had with Gabby from the time she started her cross-country road trip with her boyfriend until the day Brian came home without her.

Gabby's parents request "all notes, diaries, calendars, memoranda, or other documents of any type, which memorialize or reference each and every conversation, telephone call, or other forms of communication you [Christopher and Roberta Laundrie] had with Gabby from July 2, 2021, to September 1, 2021," according to legal documents obtained by the outlet.

Gabby Petito's remains was recovered in a Wyoming camping area on September 19, 2021. However, medical examiner Dr. Brent Blue believes she died on August 27.

Nichole's final text message to her daughter was on August 30. However, she believes that the communication did not originate with Gabby.

On September 1, Brian returned to his parents' home in Florida without his fiancée, but Nichole and Joe did not report her missing until September 11. They later stated that Chris and Roberta did not respond to their inquiries concerning Gabby's location.

Gabby Petito's parents are now suing Chris and Roberta Laundrie, accusing them of knowing their son murdered their daughter but failing to share the knowledge at the key period in the days-long search.

Nichole and Joe also allege that a statement issued on their behalf by the Laundrie family counsel gave them false optimism that their daughter was still alive.

Gabby's parents are also requesting that every email, text, letter, note, diary, calendar, memorandum, phone call, or "other forms of communication" between Chris, Roberta, and Gabby be turned over to them, from the time she started the road trip with her beau to the time he returned home in her van without her.

Not only that, but according to Radar, Joe and Nichole want "every" discussion they had with Brian throughout that time period and beyond.

Joe and Nichole also requested access to all phone bills, including cellular and residential, used by their daughter, her boyfriend, and the Laundries between August 2021 and November 2021.

After a five-week search, Brian Laundrie's bones were located near his parents' house in late October.

His death was caused by a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to a medical examiner's findings.
