Fans couldn't wait for the Netflix premiere of "The Crown," which is set to premiere this fall.

The future season will be available on the streaming service. It concentrates on the royal family saga's 1990s, with one major focal point being Princess Diana's contentious "Panorama" interview with Martin Bashir for the BBC.

Lord Dyson's investigation last year revealed that the network covered up "deceitful behavior" undertaken by the veteran anchor to obtain the contentious 1995 tell-all interview with the mother of Prince Harry and Prince William.

According to a source close to the production of the blockbuster Netflix show "The Crown," scriptwriters have integrated the contents of the investigation into season five's narrative.

Telling Press Association (via Daily Mail), this season "will depict events surrounding the 'Panorama' interview, considering the significant role it played throughout the era covered by the new series."

"It will reflect what we know about how we secured the interview and how Diana was treated."

Princess Diana's brother, Charles, alleges that Bashir, who no longer works for the network, lied about his sister being bugged by security agencies in order to gain the interview.

In 1995, more than 23 million people saw the "Panorama" interview. "There were three of us in this marriage; it was becoming a bit crowded," Princess Diana stated, alluding to husband Prince Charles and then-mistress Camilla Parker-Bowles.

After the news broke, Prince William begged the BBC not to re-air the shocking interview.

According to a statement issued by the network's director-general Tim Davie, the interview will never be aired again.

The program was supposed to finish after the fifth season, but Peter Morgan, the show's creator and writer, subsequently announced that it would be extended for another season.
