Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie seemingly had a change of heart in their recent meeting.

The past years since their divorce have been rough for Pitt and Jolie - from their split to their children's custody. But it seems like there have been some changes in their relationship during their recent meeting.

Last month, Pitt attended the "Bullet Train" premiere in Paris and paid a visit to Rome where the actress has been directing Salma Hayek in "Without Blood."

An insider recently told OK! Magazine that the reunion was cordial - an unexpected development in their relationship.

"The judge cleared Angie to take this job abroad and bring the kids, so Brad's option was to fly to Rome or not see them for quite a while. Pitt didn't have a lot of choice as far as the visitation process went," the insider said, adding, "It was refreshingly cordial."

Pitt was also able to see his kids with minimum fuss as he did it as privately as possible.

It was revealed that the "Maleficent" actress was happy after learning that Pitt had reserved his time to go to Rome to see their kids.

"Jolie is on a tight shooting schedule, so she's relieved that Brad Pitt was able to come to Rome to see the kids and be there for Knox and Vivienne's birthday, it means a lot to her that he made the trip. She always bends over backward to make sure the kids get time with their dad, especially on special occasions like birthdays and holidays," another source revealed.

Maddox, Pax, and Zahara do not see "both sides" of the picture since they side with Jolie from the beginning.

Shiloh, meanwhile, remains neutral and wishes for her mother and father to reconcile instead.

"Shiloh wishes her mom and dad could find it in their hearts to forgive each other and move on peacefully. She's always reminding her mom and dad of the good times they shared. It pains her terribly to see them treating each other like they're some type of monster," the source went on.

The first biological daughter has been trying to convince her siblings to establish good relationships with the "Ad Astra" star as he has always been there for them. Instead of treating him like a monstrous criminal, Shiloh reportedly wants them to still respect their father.
