Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have opted to stay friends following the announcement of their breakup.
The couple, who had a 13-year age difference, were apparently at various stages of their life, making it difficult for them to establish a long-term relationship.
According to an informant who spoke to Page Six, age gap may have played a massive role in the split. After all, the "Saturday Night Live" comic is 28 years old, while the SKIMS billionaire is 41.
"Pete is completely impulsive and wants her to go to New York or wherever he is at any time."
They went on to explain that Kanye West's ex-wife has four children, which makes it difficult for her because she also needs to focus on her children.
Kim was said to be "completely fatigued" by their relationship and other things going on in her life, according to the insider.
"Kanye may cause difficulties with the kids when Kim is with someone else. He is attempting to divide and conquer. He can't help himself."

One user speculated that it may be related to Khloe Kardashian's baby, as she recently welcomed her second child through surrogate with cheating beau Tristan Thompson.

Another individual added that Kim is the type of sister who would shield her younger sister from criticism by creating a media storm that would prevent people from talking about Khloe Kardashian's newborn son.
After all, Khloe was chastised for forgiving Tristan numerous times after he cheated on her but excommunicating Jordyn Woods from their family.
Another fan idea is that Kylie Jenner's second child, whose name has yet to be revealed, will now be made public, and the Kylie Cosmetics founder may even post a photo of her son.
