A subreddit began debating how the SKIMS mogul intended to undermine the "Saturday Night Live" star with bogus claims, but was quickly outwitted by the comic.
On the online discussion, people discussed how the entire Kardashian-Jenner family had a "way of making exes appear like crazy, addicted deadbeats when a relationship is done."
According to one fan, the family began to circulate "fugazi tales for weeks" when Pete supposedly stopped receiving calls; however, none of them leaked."
"So, whatever they were intending re: supposedly planting reports about the comedian's 'sobriety' is now dead?" they said.
Another user speculated that Pete's staff may have previously crafted the statement and even allowed the family to "save face" by releasing it sooner rather than later.
Even yet, it was observed that certain media outlets "waited."

The wacky conspiracy idea came to an end when a fan remarked that they didn't like the comic but praised him for "silencing THAT family."

Kardashian supporters also debated the subject in the post's comments section, with one user claiming that Kim is out to get Pete.
