Angela Lansbury died at the age of 96.

The famous screen diva, who appeared in numerous great films like "Beauty and the Beast" and "Murder, She Wrote," apparently had one final desire before passing away.

Angela's lone wish, according to a 2020 cover story, was to be remembered as a "OK gal."

When she was 94 years old, the actress reflected on her incredibly successful and long-running career in the profession and expressed gratitude for what she had done.

The British actress claimed that being a "character actor" provided her with more opportunities than being a "glamor girl," and she considered it an honor.

Angela discovered her talent for performing when she was 13 and participated in theatre lessons.

A sequence of events forced her to migrate to the United States with her mother in 1940 to avoid World War II.

Four years later, Angela featured in her debut film, "Gaslight," which received great praise.

Angela Lansbury's name appeared among the names of other Hollywood luminaries such as Judy Garland, Elizabeth Taylor, and Lana Turner.

Angela played Jessica Fletcher on "Murder, She Wrote" for 12 seasons at the age of 59, describing the part "the closest I got to playing myself."

Why Angela Lansbury Turned Her Back on Hollywood Career

The full tale behind Angela Lansbury's Hollywood trauma is exposed following her death.

According to another claim by Radar Online, she was compelled to abandon her lucrative acting profession in order to protect her children from drugs, depravity, and even cult leader Charles Manson.

A friend of the singer said, her children were on the edge of being destroyed, so she gave up everything to save her family from a "secret hell" that no one knew about.

As her popularity rose, so did her son Anthony and daughter Deidre's terror.

Anthony began dabbling in narcotics when he was 12 years old, first with cannabis and progressing to heroin. By 1970, he had overdosed and was in a coma.

Deidre was also among those who followed Charles Manson's lead.

By 1970, Angela Lansbury had informed her husband, Peter Shaw, that they needed to leave. The entire family relocated to Ireland.
