King Charles III will reportedly attempt to prevent "bombshell royal family secrets" from spilling in Prince Harry's tell-all book.

Amid his hopes to reconcile with Prince Harry, King Charles III is doing his job as a monarch, as well. Unfortunately, he might choose to act as King rather than a father to his son once the memoir has been released to the public.

Radar Online revealed the reported ultimatum the monarch gave to the Duke of Sussex.

According to the news outlet, Prince Harry should choose whether to cancel the release of his $20 million memoir or accept the fact that he will forever be estranged from the royal family. The worst-case is that he might be exiled for good.

"Charles has gone into severe crisis-management mode. He knows that Harry holds the key to a closet full of dark secrets. It goes way deeper than simply Harry calling Charles on TV a bad father," the insiders said.

This resonated with what King Charles III has reportedly been wanting in the past months. Vanity Fair's royal correspondent Katie Nicholl told Fox News Digital that the patriarch was still hopeful for a reconciliation.

However, his attempts have not been successful as Prince Harry seemingly distances himself from those possibilities of reconciliation.

Will Prince Harry Cancel His Multi-Million Memoir?

After Queen Elizabeth II's death, Prince Harry announced the postponement of the release of his book to pay respect to his grandmother. In addition, he aimed to make changes and revise some parts of the book.

It only means he has no plans to cancel its release as it will leave him and Meghan Markle broke.

In an interview with GB News, Nicholl said canceling the memoir would push them to give the payment back to the publisher. Unfortunately, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have no means to give it back due to their mortgage.

She also explained the potential get-out clause Prince Harry should settle before canceling the memoir.

For what it's worth, Prince Harry signed a four-book agreement with Penguin Random House, with his first project poses to explore his "experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons." But ahead of its release, royal commentator Grant Harrold predicted the memoir would flop due to his low popularity.

He noted that the duke's popularity had already plunged to the lowest, dropping by 10 percent, after he announced his book.
