Meghan Markle could follow Princess Diana and Britney Spears' move and release her memoir, according to a PR expert.

Matt Yanofsky, a PR expert, weighed in on the Duchess of Sussex's next move. According to him, "Spare" was Prince Harry's chance to tell his story, and Markle's point of view was "equally compelling." Dropping a book would also reportedly help if Markle plans to pursue her rumored political career. Additionally, it seems to be the trend following the success of Spears' "The Woman In Me."

"Britney's book just sold gangbusters without Britney doing any press," the PR expert told the Mirror. "There's likely a big market for another female celebrity's memoir -- if Meghan will spill the beans. Is she going to reveal who was the royal racist? Is she going to divulge real information? That's what it will take for the book to work."

He added, "Meghan, of course, thinks she's a fancy celebrity, not the glorified reality star that she is. Just as she did a 'documentary' instead of a 'reality show,' it's possible she will copy Princess Diana and work with an authorized biographer as Diana sat down for interviews in the [90s] for a book. There are many options to make money selling out the royals when your name is Meghan!"

Christopher Andersen, a critically acclaimed royal author and commentator, also shared the same opinion. The "Brothers and Wives: Inside the Private Lives of William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan" author shared his thoughts about Markle releasing her own book.

"I think the next shoe to drop will definitely be Meghan's book," Andersen said on Us Weekly's "Royally Us" podcast. "She has a book to write, and I think she's inclined. [She] has generally been inclined to say what she wishes to say and be pretty forthright. So, we'll see what happens there."

When asked about the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family, Andersen said he didn't think the former were making an effort to end the rift with the royals. According to him, "Neither one is really making much of an effort to make things whole again."

Previous reports claimed Prince Harry and Markle wanted to join the royal family in Sandringham for Christmas. The claim prompted some to speculate that the beef with the Sussexes and the members of the firm was thawing. However, several royal experts argued that this was not the case.

Royal journalist, commentator and author Angela Levin believed Prince Harry and Markle wanted to reunite with the royal family to "get information that they can sell on." Charlotte Griffith, editor-at-large at The Mail on Sunday, also questioned the Sussexes' desire to reunite with the royals, speculating that they were after "more materials" they could use for their next documentary.
