Meghan Markle could follow in her husband Prince Harry's footsteps in releasing her own book, according to a royal biographer.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have received an intense backlash following the release of Omid Scobie's new book "Endgame," which many deemed an attack against the royal family. Prince Harry and Markle were dragged into the issue because many dubbed Scobie their "mouthpiece." Prince Harry's biography "Spare," released earlier this year, was as controversial, and Christopher Andersen, a critically acclaimed royal author and commentator, believes Markle could come up with her own book.

"I think the next shoe to drop will definitely be Meghan's book," Andersen said on Us Weekly's "Royally Us" podcast. "She has a book to write, and I think she's inclined. [She] has generally been inclined to say what she wishes to say and be pretty forthright. So, we'll see what happens there."

In the same interview, Anderson was asked about Prince Harry and Markle's relationship with the royal family since the new book "Endgame" claimed the Duke of Sussex was left in the dark when Queen Elizabeth II died. The royal author doesn't think the Sussexes' relationship with the members of the firm has improved.

"I think it was funny that only days before Harry and Meghan are out in Las Vegas at the closing of Katy Perry's show, you know, Orlando Bloom at their side. I mean, I think they're living a different life now and you know, neither one is really making a much of an effort to make things whole again, I think, in terms of the royal family."

A report from The Times claimed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were open to spending the holidays with the royal family in Sandringham. However, they reportedly haven't received an invite yet.

Some royals fans hoped the beef between the Sussexes and the royals was thawing. However, experts don't think it was the case.

Charlotte Griffith, editor-at-large at The Mail on Sunday, believed Prince Harry and Markle were interested in being reunited with the royal family because they needed "more materials for their next documentary." Prince Harry's biographer Angela Levin alleged that the Sussexes wanted to "get information that they can sell on."
