Meghan Markle is moving on from the royal family and no longer wants to be associated with them, according to a royal correspondent.

Royal biographer Omid Scobie, author of the new book "Endgame," recently spoke with Elle magazine. During the chat, the interviewer mentioned how Prince Harry's relationship with his big brother, Prince William, wasn't getting any better, which also meant that it was the same for Markle. Scobie then said a reconciliation was unlikely since Markle wanted to be independent.

"We've seen her in the last year really establish herself as an independent individual that is not riding on the coattails of her royal past or really even interested in being involved in that world," Scobie added.

"I know her team spoke about [how] she wasn't coming over for the coronation because of Archie's birthday, but I also know from speaking with people that there was also a desire to stay away from the noise and hysteria that comes any time she sets foot near the country, let alone the family."

The "Finding Freedom" author approved of the former "Suits" star's move. He also alleged that part of Markle's decision was how they were treated during the late Queen Elizabeth's death.

Also, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been urging the royal family to take accountability for what happened between them.

Earlier this year, in an interview before the release of his book "Spare," Prince Harry demanded the royals apologize to his wife. However, it was unclear why he wanted his family to do this.

"I wish you'd actually sit down with me, properly, and instead of saying I'm delusional and paranoid, actually sit down and have a proper conversation about this, because what I'd really like is some accountability. And an apology to my wife," Prince Harry said in his interview with The Telegraph.

Last month, Markle made her red carpet return at Variety magazine's Power of Women gala in Los Angeles. Body language expert Judi James seemed to support Scobie's claim that Markle was moving on from the royal family because the "Bodytalk: The Skills of Positive Image" author saw that the Duchess of Sussex was launching herself as "an A-list actress" and not as a royal.

Meanwhile, Markle was slammed for overstaying on the red carpet at the same event. Her assistant was caught on camera nudging her to move forward, but she ignored her and continued to pose for the cameras, prompting her critics to roast her for how she behaved.

"One look at this video, and you know the claim that they wanted privacy was a total ruse. She is ecstatic to be in front of the cameras," one commented.
