Here's One Thing Taylor Swift And Meghan Markle Have In Common

Netizens found something in common between pop royalty Taylor Swift and actual royalty Meghan Markle when the singer attended the premiere of the movie "Poor Things" to support her friend Emma Stone.

On Wednesday, the "1989" hitmaker walked the red carpet in a Charlotte Simone faux fur "Penny" coat worn over a long, black gown paired with Giuseppe Zanotti open-toe pumps and a personalized Sagittarius zodiac clutch by Naeem Khan.

Netizens thought it looked familiar because the Duchess of Sussex was previously spotted with the same Naeem Khan zodiac clutch when she and her husband, Prince Harry, attended a concert for the Queen's 92nd birthday in 2018.

Markle carried a similar clutch, but it was one inspired by her astrological sign, Leo. At the time, the Duchess of Sussex paired it with a Stella McCartney cape front dress, Shaun Leane yellow gold accessories and a Manolo Blahnik "BB Pumo" in navy suede.

As of press time, the zodiac clutch made of plated brass inlay and Swarovski crystals is no longer available for purchase on Naeem Khan's website. It was reportedly priced at $1,490 originally.

Having similar Naeem Khan clutches is no accident since both Swift and Markle are into astrology. 

In a 2019 interview with Rolling Stone, the multi-awarded singer revealed that she had a "really, really long talk" with Katy Perry about their astrological signs when they reconnected. According to her, they discussed their signs' different personalities and how these influenced their life decisions.

Swift also uses zodiac allusions in her songs, such as "The Archer," "Mad Woman" and "State of Grace."

Previously, she wore a Pisces -- her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn's zodiac sign -- constellation ring.

Meanwhile, Meghan reportedly owns several astrology-inspired jewelry pieces.

In August 2021, when Meghan uploaded her 40th birthday video, she was seen wearing two Logan Hollowell constellation necklaces, symbolizing the astrological signs of her children Archie and Lili -- Taurus and Gemini, respectively.

In 2019, the duchess was also spotted wearing zodiac necklaces from a sustainable jewelry company named Suetables. At the time, she wore Taurus and Virgo sign necklaces for then-baby Archie and Prince Harry, respectively.
