Twenty male celebrities and personalities have been selected and ranked on Us Magazine's list of the internet's best boyfriends of 2023.

Per entertainment journalist and culture writer Esther Zuckerman, the term internet boyfriend is given to someone who "projects an image of being good and kind," unproblematic, gets almost "exclusively good press" and "stands for something good."

This year, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was among the male personalities who often made headlines after his relationship with Taylor Swift was revealed. Though he is not the No. 1 best internet boyfriend this 2023, he still made it on top of the list at No. 5.

The National Football League (NFL) star won the hearts of netizens, specifically Swifties or Taylor Swift fans, for his efforts for Taylor, including flying to Argentina for his girlfriend's "The Eras Tour" concert and buying a $6 million mansion that's more secluded and private.

He also made Swifties swoon over his sweet public displays of affection towards the singer, including sharing a backstage kiss and holding hands after a "Saturday Night Live" cameo, among many others.

The American singer-songwriter's "lover" ranked after "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes" actor Tom Blyth, "The Bear's" Jeremy Allen White, "The Summer I Turned Pretty" actors Christopher Briney and Gavin Casalegno and "The Last of Us" star Pedro Pascal, who took the No. 4 to No. 1 spots, respectively.

Other male celebrities who made it to the best internet boyfriends of 2023 are "Barbie's" Ryan Gosling, "Saltburn's" Jacob Elordi and Barry Keoghan, "All of Us Strangers'" Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott, "Fellow Travelers'" Jonathan Bailey and Matt Bomer and "Wonka's" Timothée Chalamet. In particular, they ranked at the No. 6 to No. 10 spots.

"Riverdale's" Charles Melton, "Creed III" director Michael B. Jordan, "The Little Mermaid's" Jonah Hauer-King, "Red, White & Royal Blue's" Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine, and "Abbott Elementary's" Tyler James Williams also came through. They occupied the 11th to 15th spots on the list in the same order.

Completing the list at the No. 16 to No. 20 spots, respectively, are "Daisy Jones & The Six" actor Sam Claflin, "Heartstopper" actors Joe Locke and Kit Connor, "The Iron Claw" actor Zac Efron, "Scream VI" actor Mason Gooding and "We Live in Time" actor Andrew Garfield.
