Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion's feud has escalated, with the former bringing up the younger rapper's late mother.

Minaj hit out at Megan multiple times Friday, shortly after the 28-year-old released her song "Hiss," where she referenced "Megan's Law," a federal law related to registered sex offenders.

"These h**s don't be mad at Megan / these h**s mad at Megan's Law," Megan rapped in the track.

Fans perceived it as a dig at Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, who is a registered sex offender. Some suggested the lyric may have also been aimed at Minaj's brother, Jelani Maraj, who was convicted in 2017 of raping his 11-year-old stepdaughter.

During a conversation on the Stationhead radio app, Minaj made a distasteful joke about Megan's late mother, Holly Thomas, who died in 2019 from a cancerous brain tumor, according to Page Six.

"You let everyone be thrown under the bus," Minaj said Friday in a video shared by a user on X, formerly Twitter. "You let DaBaby be thrown under the bus, Tory, your best friend, your mom ... You better go conjure up your mother and apologize. That's disgusting."

Minaj also took jabs at Megan on Instagram Live, where she previewed a new track taking aim at Megan, referencing the incident where the younger rapper was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez in 2020.

"Bad b***h she like six foot, I call her Big Foot/ The b***h fell off, I said get up on your good foot," Minaj rapped in the song, which has since been released.

The 41-year-old rapper also dissed Megan's rapping ability before bringing up her late mother.

"You bringing up 30-year-old tea from when this man was a 15-year-old child. You bringing up 30-year-old tea 'cause no man will ever f*****g love you, and lying on your dead mother," Minaj said during the Live.

Minaj's comments about Megan's mother drew sharp criticism on social media, with one user calling it "nasty."

Another user on X wrote, "Nicki Minaj has lost it."

"And she is STILL going, oh my gawd. Megan isn't paying her ANY attention whatsoever. This is so embarrassing of Nicki," a third user commented.

Megan has not yet responded directly to Minaj's comments about her late mom.

Minaj and Megan previously collaborated on the hit song, "Hot Girl Summer," in 2019.

It is unclear when their relationship soured, but some fans speculated that Megan working with Cardi B on the hit single "WAP" might have strained the former's relationship with Minaj.
