Travis Kelce Won't Attend The Grammys Despite Taylor Swift’s Appearance: Here’s Why
Travis Kelce will not be able to attend the Grammys and be his girlfriend Taylor Swift's plus-one for a good reason.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end will reportedly arrive in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl the same weekend as the annual music awarding event, per TMZ.
Travis and his team will be on a strict schedule ahead of their Feb. 11 match against the San Francisco 49ers.
The Chiefs recently advanced to the Super Bowl after winning against the Baltimore Ravens during Sunday's AFC Championship Game, claiming a 17-10 score.
Post-game, the couple shared a hug and a kiss even while TV cameras surrounded the NFL player and the pop star.

The "1989" artist has six Grammy nominations this year, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Anti-Hero," Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year for "Midnights" and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her song "Karma" featuring Ice Spice.
Jack Antonoff, the producer of her album "Midnights," is nominated in the Producer of the Year, Non-Classical category, too.
However, the pop superstar will not be performing on stage at the upcoming Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 4 as she is set to resume her "The Eras Tour" on Feb. 7 in Tokyo, Japan.
Per Elle, there simply isn't enough time for Taylor to perform at the Grammys and then pick up her world tour in Japan, which is 17 hours ahead of Los Angeles.
Although Travis couldn't accompany his girlfriend to the Grammys because of his strict Super Bowl schedule, the "Anti-Hero" singer will reportedly watch the Kansas City Chiefs game against the San Francisco 49ers after her last Tokyo show on Feb. 10, per Page Six.
"It's a brutal flight, but she'll get on her plane right after the concert," claimed an insider to the media outlet.
The 13-hour direct flight and the 17-hour time difference will give the Grammy-winning artist the advantage of traveling back in time for the big event while crossing time zones.

Meanwhile, a source recently shared an insight into Taylor and Travis' relationship status via Entertainment Tonight.
"Taylor and Travis are so excited that the Chiefs and Travis are heading to the Super Bowl. They're very in love, and Taylor is super proud of him. They're both extremely dedicated and hardworking and understand each other. They are relishing this moment," the source said.
