Prince William reportedly has no plans to see his younger brother, Prince Harry, who immediately flew to the U.K. after learning that their father, King Charles, has cancer.

Various speculations about the Prince of Wales and Duke of Sussex's relationship surfaced amid their dad's health crisis. However, many doubt that the current royal family issue will lead to a reconciliation between the brothers.

On Tuesday, Piers Morgan, an English broadcaster, journalist, writer and TV presenter, joined Karl Stefanovic on "Today" and talked about the royal family. The latter said King Charles' cancer diagnosis might be enough to draw Prince William and Prince Harry together while acknowledging that the "hate seems to run deep" amid their beef.

But in Morgan's opinion, it's unlikely for the two gentlemen to reconcile despite their father's health condition.

"I think, honestly, I tweeted earlier, I think William would rather shoot himself than see his brother right now," Morgan said. "I think this is very deep. This is a real sibling war."

Morgan shared that amid the falling out between the two princes, his "sympathies are entirely with William." The TV presenter pointed out how Prince Harry had publicly attacked his family, especially the Prince and Princess of Wales, but the future king and queen did not do the same to him and his wife.

"What has he said in public against his brother or his brother's wife? Absolutely nothing. Not one word," he continued.

"What have Harry and Meghan done to William and Kate? A relentless dire tribe of public criticism, much of it very spiteful, much of it very personal. Is it any surprise to anybody that William can't stomach the sight of his brother anymore? If that was one of my brothers, I've made it very clear to them that would be it, and I'm pretty sure they feel the same way about me."

Morgan also called out Prince Harry for allegedly "trashing" his family in various ways.

"Trashing your family for years, on television around the world and in podcasts and everything else is not conducive to a sibling friendship," he concluded.

An old school friend of Prince William and Prince Harry, who chose to be anonymous, also spoke with the Daily Beast about the issue. The insider also believes that whatever the family was going through could not change Prince William's feelings toward his younger brother.

"The news about their father is absolutely shocking, but I don't think it means William wants to meet up with Harry and shake hands for the cameras," the source said.

"If the papers want to write that they are going to be having pints together and a heart to heart, they will, but in reality, the idea that William and Kate are ever, ever going to let Harry back into their lives, or trust him with any personal information ever again is a total fantasy. It's simply not possible to exaggerate how bad and how damaged the relationship is, and how angry William is at Harry for betraying him for money."

Buckingham Palace announced on its website Monday that King Charles was diagnosed with some form of cancer. However, the monarch remains optimistic to return to his public duties soon.
