Usher and his ex-wife Tameka Raymond are currently in an Atlanta courtroom after Tameka was granted an emergency custody hearing for their two sons, Usher V and Naviyid.

Days after Usher V was hospitalized due to a swimming pool incident, Tameka took the stand and said that her five-year-old son is doing well after he nearly drowned, but expressed concerns for his well being, according to a TMZ live feed.

"I don't know where my kids are, who they're with, who's taking care of them," Tameka said.

Usher's lawyer said Rena Oden, the aunt who was watching the children is a "very attentive and wonderful person" who has helped take care of his children since they were born.

Aunt Rena is a "hero." And Usher is a "wonderful, responsible, and caring parent," Usher's lawyers added.

Tameka said that she has yet to see Usher in the hospital to visit Usher V, making him an unfit father to take care of the kids.

According to the celebrity website, Tameka's lawyer said that there has been several incidents recently, including the pool accident this week that justifies that the Grammy-award singer does not take care of the kids.

Tameka claimed that unlike Usher, the kids have never been harmed under her care.

Usher took the stand at 4 p.m. He admitted that he was at the recording studio at the time of the incident. When he recieved the phone call, he rushed straight to his home, finding Usher V in the back of an ambulance.

Usher's lawyer asked the judge for Tameka's request for the kids to be dismissed. His lawyer says the kids are "thriving" with Usher, despite the pool accident, which has been blown way out of proportion in order for Tameka to get custody back.
