Whoopi Goldberg has questioned why Donald Trump's alleged bad behavior is seemingly being normalized.

On Monday's episode of "The View," Goldberg reacted after the Supreme Court overturned a Colorado decision booting the businessman-turned-politician from the state ballot over his involvement in the Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021. The voters from Colorado argued that Trump wasn't qualified to hold public office over his alleged involvement in a rebellion, quoting a clause from the Fourteenth Amendment. However, the Supreme Court didn't see it that way.

Goldberg said that Trump's victory was "probably the right decision." However, the "Sister Act" star was concerned that the ruling would only "normalize" Trump's alleged "bad behavior."

"The thing that bothers me about this, and I know it's probably the right decision, but I don't like that we've normalized this man. It has really irritated the poo out of me that we have normalized him and his bad behavior," Goldberg said, per Media ITE.

"I get that the law says, listen, it would be really rough, and it should be the Congress that makes these decisions, and yet that's not how we've been acting. We keep saying state's laws. We keep giving people the right to make these changes, and then they make a change, and they say, well, we don't want this and, and everybody says, oh no, of course, we shouldn't want that. But the problem is, why have we normalized it? Why is this now normal behavior?"

Goldberg's co-host Ana Navarro shared the same sentiment and noted that "it didn't just start now," per Decider. According to her, the normalization started with the infamous Access Hollywood tape when Trump bragged about sexual assault. Navarro said it was a crucial juncture in political career and was the "beginning of the normalization." She also called out the Republicans for playing a role in normalizing Trump's "bad behavior."

"I think it's just so Donald Trump-centric, this normalization of bad behavior," Navarro said, adding, "By continuing to vote for this man and pretending all of these wrongdoings have not happened, they have normalized just evil and wrongdoing."

Goldberg pointed out that she used to be a "really big fan of the Supreme Court." However, she accused SCOTUS of giving Trump protection in its latest ruling.
