In the spring 2023, paparazzi initially captured photos linking the pair romantically. Majors and Good attended the Congressional Black Caucus' Black and White Ball. During the event, Majors hinted at the seriousness of their connection by referring to Good as "the Mrs."

The event marked Majors' first red carpet appearance after he was found guilty of misdemeanor third-degree assault and second-degree harassment in December.

During his first interview after the verdict with 'Good Morning America,' Majors insisted he never struck his then-girlfriend Grace Jabbari.

"My hands have never struck a woman — ever," he said. When asked how her reported injuries occurred, Majors replied, "I wish to God I knew."
