Kate Middleton broke her silence after her months-long disappearance by giving a health update, but some still questioned her video.

On Friday, Kensington Palace released a video with Middleton giving an update about her health. The Princess of Wales announced that she was diagnosed with cancer.

In the clip, she's wearing a stripe sweatshirt and jeans while sitting on a bench. Internet sleuths claimed that her sweater was similar to the one she wore in a 2016 video for the mental health campaign Heads Together. However, the outfit had longer sleeves in her recent appearance.

One user on TikTok said he slowed down Middleton's cancer video frame by frame, and the royal's eyes allegedly popped out of her head, which he claimed was a "digital mistake."

"I truly believed, personally, my personal opinion, is that this is an AI video," the netizen stated. "There's a seven-year-old video from YouTube with her wearing the exact same clothes and having the exact same hair, which they probably fed to the AI to make this video."

He added that Middleton's eyes allegedly changed colors and were mismatched when the clip was slowed down. Also, he claimed that "none of the backgrounds move," which he alleged was a "green screen."

The post received mixed responses on the social media platform. Many agreed it was AI, while some wondered why the Palace would release a fake video.

"I swear once I saw the video I knew it was [an] ai video. I was before you man," one commented with a laughing emoji.

Another added, "The only problem I have with this theory is the why. Why would they make an AI video of Kate?" Several responded that the video was probably fake because Middleton was allegedly "unalive" and "not around anymore."

"I'm sure it's AI, but in another note -- how can we not just let them be?????" a third person added.

"Omgoodness. This never ends!!!" a different netizen opined.

Some netizens claimed that her engagement ring briefly disappeared when she moved her hand in one frame. This led some to believe that the clip was deepfake.

"This Kate Middleton video is clearly AI, but members of the public who aren't familiar with the technology will be easily fooled," one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter. "The overly blurred background doesn't move. Not a single breeze moving a petal, leaf or blade of grass. It's clearly not real."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's pal Christopher Bouzy made the same allegations. He alleged that the Palace lied with the release of the video.

"The palace lied, and the British press happily helped them lie. The countless' conspiracy theory' headlines, while knowing a lot of what was being said was true. This is really some North Korea / Trumpian type of propaganda," he tweeted.

However, several netizens also defended the Palace and Middleton, saying those spreading theories and assumptions should leave Middleton alone amid her health battle.

"It was reported Kate filmed this on Wednesday w/ the BBC -- likely in a studio w/ a green screen," one person said. "Let her be -- we have no empathy as a society anymore. She is a young mother with 3 children who fears like all of us. Stop scrutinizing her while she heals."

"Utter drivel. This is exactly how England looked last Wednesday when it was filmed. And the ring doesn't disappear it's an effect of movement blurring. If you're going to play detective, at least be accurate," another added.

Royal experts believe that Middleton's diagnosis could pave the way for the royal family's reconciliation with the Sussexes. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle released a statement after learning about their sister-in-law's condition.
