Melania Trump may decide to move from Florida to the state where her son Barron Trump will attend college in the next school year, according to a report.

The former first lady has always prioritized the well-being of her only child with husband Donald Trump, and some in Melania's circle reportedly believe this will continue even though Barron has stepped into adulthood and will soon go to university.

While Barron, who turned 18 on March 20, has yet to decide where he'll attend college, an unnamed social source suggested to People that Melania will likely "follow him wherever he goes to school."

Describing Barron as "shy" and "reserved," the social source added that Melania is a "good mother" to the teen and treats raising Barron as her "main job."

Melania is "all about Barron and her family" and "has always been family-oriented," according to the source.

Aside from charity work, "staying ahead of family issues" is reportedly the former model's top priority.

The former president's comments about Melania during a town hall in February seemed to back this statement.

Trump told Fox News' Laura Ingraham at the time that Melania's "life revolves around" their son Barron and taking care of him is "so important to her."

Melania has kept herself and Barron out of the spotlight since the Trumps left the White House in 2021 and relocated to their Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.

She has since focused on spending time with her family and raising her son -- even after Trump launched his third bid for the White House.

"Melania's friends are her family members," an unnamed Palm Beach source told People last year. "She has always surrounded herself with family. She is a doting mother to Barron and very protective of him."

The insider also suggested that Melania has been absent from her husband's side amid his legal woes to "protect Barron now than she ever did."

"Barron has always been a first priority in [Melania's] life," the source added. "She has always put him first."

Melania appeared to prove this when she broke with decades of tradition by deciding not to move into the White House when Trump took office in 2017.

She delayed moving into the presidential mansion at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and stayed back in New York City for five months so her then-10-year-old son could finish the school year at his Upper West Side private school uninterrupted, according to CBS News.

After moving into the White House with his mother, Barron began attending the private St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Maryland.

Following the end of his father's term, Barron switched to the Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, where he is set to graduate high school this year.
