Following his disclosure of being the unnamed minor in a 2003 sexual abuse case against Brian Peck (unrelated to Josh), as revealed in the 'Quiet on Set' documentary, the former 'Drake & Josh' actor expressed gratitude for Josh's supportive reaction to the revelations.

"Josh worked on 'The Amanda Show,' so he saw and knew what was going on," he claimed on the April 2 episode of podcast 'Not Skinny But Not Fat.'

He highlighted Peck's discretion in reaching out to him privately instead of going directly to the media, emphasizing that Peck, 37, allegedly witnessed firsthand what he was experiencing during that time.

Although Bell did not disclose the entirety of his experience to Peck during the time of the reported abuse, he claimed that his former co-star and others on the set of 'The Amanda Show' were aware of the situation.

"I don't think he knew specifics, but there were people who worked on the show that knew who it was," Bell, 37, continued. "He just knew how sensitive this was for me and after watching the documentary, he learned so much that I had gone through and I think he was just so sensitive and made sure to reach out to me privately rather than just going straight to social media."

After Brian was sentenced to 16 months in prison and mandated to register as a sex offender, Bell stated how he thinks "Brian was able to pull the wool over a lot of people's eyes and paint a picture that was a far cry from reality."

Following the broadcast of the four-part Investigation Discovery series that premiered last month, numerous Nickelodeon enthusiasts urged Josh to publicly support his former colleague.

In a TikTok video posted on March 20, Bell revealed Josh offered to lend an ear and provide support as he navigated through the aftermath of the situation.

Bell said: "Just wanted to let you guys know that and to take it a little easy on him."
