During an episode of MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, praise was extended to Rhodes for his candid handling of inquiries regarding McMahon's legal challenges during a Royal Rumble media gathering. Rhodes emphasized the importance of transparency when addressing such delicate matters.

"Being truthful is essential in those situations," said Rhodes, 38. "Every person was trying to be as honest as possible that evening, though it is critical to acknowledge the reality of the matter head-on. I'm appreciative that I was able to respond as I did."
Helwani proceeded to inquire about Rhodes' current stance on the allegations in light of recent developments. "It's crucial not to denigrate the claimant in any accusation," Rhodes asserted. "Unfortunately, that can happen too quickly. I'm no legal expert; it's important for these matters to be resolved through the legal system. I keep my primary focus on enhancing our shows, but I'm also observing how this case unfolds, like everyone else, with hopes for a just resolution for all parties involved."
Rhodes additionally noted WWE's apparent leadership under Nick Khan and Triple H, despite speculation from Ronda Rousey hinting at McMahon's continued influence via Bruce Prichard's ongoing involvement in the company.
Former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit against WWE founder Vince McMahon, 78, accusing him of trafficking and sexually abusing her with sex toys named after WWE stars.
