In March, the 'Girl's Trip' actress revealed that she had been sober for over two months following a DUI incident in Beverly Hills on November 24, 2023. She also faced a DUI arrest in Georgia in January 2022.

When discussing her support system during her sobriety journey, Haddish admitted to depending solely on herself, expressing a lack of trust in others. She emphasized her commitment to self-reliance and independence.
