In royal fashion, the norm tends to lean towards modesty. Members of the British royal family, such as Princess Catherine and Duchess Sophie, are frequently seen fulfilling their royal obligations adorned in attire with low hems and high necklines. Even non-senior royals like Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie typically adhere to this traditional dress code.

As each year unfolds following her and Prince Harry's departure from their roles as working senior royals in 2020, Meghan has increasingly embraced fashion experimentation.

While she remains adept at carrying off her signature royal attire, such as midi dresses and wide-leg trousers, she's also delving into styles previously considered taboo for a member of the royal family.

In addition to its sultry backless detail, the figure-hugging attire from St. Agni boasts an asymmetrical halter neckline that elegantly drapes around her neck, offering a glimpse of décolletage.
