Britney Spears Says Her 'Family Hurt Me' After Conservatorship Case Settlement: 'There Has Been No Justice'
Britney Spears took to social media to express her frustration with her family, notably her father Jamie Spears, after settling their legal dispute.
She criticized her family for causing her pain and highlighted the lack of justice after her conservatorship. This comes after the end of her conservatorship in November 2021, but unresolved issues remain, including having to pay over $2 million in legal fees accumulated by her father's hired law firms during the battle.

In an Instagram post, Spears, 42, expressed her support for Jennette McCurdy's book, "I'm Glad My Mom Died" (2022), suggesting her empathy towards those grappling with familial struggles akin to her own.
"I was actually right about nerve damage in my back!!" the "Toxic" singer wrote alongside a photo of her bare back. "I have to get acupuncture every day of my life now!!!"
"If people only knew how I've had to crawl to my own door one time!!!" the pop icon added. "My family hurt me!!! There has been no justice and probably never will be!!!"
The Grammy Award winner accused a group of unnamed individuals of doing nothing for "months" while she endured mistreatment.
"The way I was brought up, I was always taught the difference between right and wrong, but the very two people who raised me with that principle hurt me!!!" she continued, seemingly referring to parents Jamie and Lynne Spears.

The 'Gimme More' singer suggested that she prefers to address her perpetrators on Instagram rather than face-to-face encounters citing concerns about safety.

Mathew Rosengart, Spears' lawyer, told Page Six on Friday that "Although the conservatorship was terminated in November 2021, her wish for freedom is now truly complete."
He continued: "As she desired, her freedom now includes that she will no longer need to attend or be involved with court or entangled with legal proceedings in this matter."
