Donald Trump seemingly dragged his youngest son, Barron Trump, to win public support, according to some netizens.

On Wednesday, a post comparing Barron and Hunter Biden was shared on Truth Social. The side-by-side pictures featured a young Barron alongside Hunter, seemingly smoking.

The overlay text on Barron's photo read, "Raided by FBI," while on Hunter's, the text read, "Not Raided." But it can be noted that Hunter dealt with legal troubles. He was indicted on gun charges, and cocaine residue was found in his gun pouch in the 2018 case, per AP.

Trump seemingly agreed with the post because he shared it on his Truth Social account. One netizen shared it on X, formerly Twitter, and it sparked discussion, with many slamming the ex-POTUS, arguing that the FBI raided him and not his son.

"Wow! What a liar!" one commented.

Another added, "What a complete lie."

"What a piece of work you are. Dragging your kid into your fight. They didn't raid Barron. They raided YOU, the criminal. The best thing that could happen for Barron would be for you to be incarcerated for the rest of your life. With no contact with the outside world," a third person commented.

"Barron wasn't raided by the FBI, you were. And by the way, everyone with any sense knows it was NOT a raid. You knew they were coming and was planned with your Secret Service Detail. If you hadn't taken what wasn't yours, it would never have happened, TRAITOR," another remarked.

"Trump is now using Barron as political fodder. Trump is now claiming that Barron was raided by the FBI. During the Mar-a-Lago raid looking for the Top Secret documents that Trump refused to return they probably looked in Barron's suite. He's using his son to pump up his base," another commenter opined.

Many also expressed disapproval of what Trump did, especially because they felt he was seemingly dragging his son to his political campaign.

"I thought Barron was off limits," one wrote.

Another sarcastically added, "Good to know Baron is fair game now!"

"Now he's dragging Barron into the limelight. No shame. No father would do that," another opined.

"Hmmm.... Melania is not gonna be happy with you reposting this about [your] son," a different user said.

Despite the backlash, several showed support for Trump. Some were even hoping that he would return to the Oval Office, and others attacked the FBI.

"Bring back DJT, our President of peace and prosperity!" a Trump supporter wrote.

"Defund the FBI! Drain the swamp and start fresh!" another commented.

"He's such a respectful kid.... His father is gonna have a rally today can't wait I have never missed a rally yet. Trump is the best," a different person commented on Truth Social.

"We all know the FBI is CORRUPTED," another Truth Social user wrote.

Trump's other son, Eric Trump, previously addressed the raid. It was reportedly related to the possible handling of government secrets that the Justice Department investigated after the National Archives retrieved White House records from Mar-a-Lago.

"The purpose of the raid was, from what they said, was because the National Archives wanted to corroborate whether or not Donald Trump had any documents in his possession," Eric told Fox News.

"And my father has worked so collaboratively with them for months. In fact, the lawyer that's been working on this was totally shocked. He goes, 'I have such an amazing relationship with these people, and all of a sudden, on no notice, they send 20 cars and 30 agents?'"
