While Hart hosted 'The Roast of Tom Brady,' the 'Friday After Next' actor hosted his own comedy special, 'Katt Williams: Woke Foke' the night before.

Williams, who has been vocal about his criticism of Hart, spoke out about the Philadelphia native in the now-viral interview on Shannon Sharpe's 'Club Shay Shay' in January. The full YouTube interview has garnered 68 million views so far.

"For a five-year period, every single movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that had been on my desk, that all I had said was, 'Just can we take some of this step and fetching s--- out and then I can do it?'" the Ohio native claimed, suggesting that Hart would get the parts he declined after making revision requests.

Williams, 52, continued: "And me saying that and them going, 'Oh, yeah, no problem,' and then going to give it to this other guy and having him do it just like it was and acting like I'm a bad person because I keep standing on my standards." He went on to say how "it's interesting, but I wouldn't change it for the world — again, I'm on the winning side of these decisions."

Now, Hart is speaking out about Williams' comments in an interview with 'The Wall Street Journal.'

"If that's what he fuels himself off, God bless him," Hart, 44, said. "Good for him. I hope he gets all that he needs and he wants, and I'm here cheering for him from afar."

"That's my real energy," the 'Lift' actor said. "I really mean it! That's how happy and secure I am with my career and my life."

Williams also called Hart a "gatekeeper" and said he "open[ed] the gate" for Tiffany Haddish in that same January interview.

'Woke Foke' has hit number one on Netflix's Top 10 list for television, knocking 'Baby Reindeer' from the top spot.
