Apple released its "100 Best Albums of All Time" list, but many disagreed with the ranking.

Lauryn Hill's "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" dominated the list at the top spot. Michael Jackson's album "Thriller" came second, with The Beatles' "Abbey Road" on the third spot. Prince & The Revolution's "Purple Rain" and Frank Ocean's "Blonde" completed the top five.

However, many were bothered by the ranking of Jackson's iconic album being second to Hill. Several netizens expressed their dissatisfaction over the list, saying there was no way Hill's album was better than Jackson's "Thriller."

"Absolutely no f****n way Lauryn Hill's album is better than 'Thriller.' This Apple Music list is always so trash," one commented with multiple face with tears of joy emoji.

"Idk how any album is ranked above 'Thriller' on any list. It changed the music industry forever," a second user opined.

"Miseducation will never ever be better than 'Thriller,' but luckily for me, I don't care about what Apple thinks," a third person wrote.

"I don't take these rankings seriously anymore. Michael Jackson changed the whole music industry with 'Thriller,'" a different user remarked.

"This list isn't even about personal opinion. It's about which album had the most cultural impact. So, in that case, 'Thriller,' absolutely should be #1. I'm not just saying this as a bias Michael Jackson fan either. I'm saying it because it's the best-selling album of all time FFS!" a different user said.

Although many didn't agree with Apple's top pick, some supported it. For them, Hill's album was also great and inspiring and even touched many lives.

"Well deserved, regardless of what we think may be number one...the album is a huge staple in hip hop and inspired many other great records that we have so [clapping hand emoji]," one commented.

"This album changed the rap culture," another said.

A third person added, "Lauryn Hill - the best ever."

"One of the best albums of all time. Merged hip hop, soul and r&b to create a timeless classic that she still tours off today without having to drop a follow-up. Changed the game and inspired countless artists after her, including Adele, Kanye, etc. This is more than deserved. GOAT," another supporter wrote.

Apple Music surprised Hill with an intimate dinner in New York to inform her that her album topped its "100 Best Albums" list.

"This is my work, but it's a rich, deep narrative. It involves so many people and so much sacrifice and so much time and so much collective love," Hill said at the event. "This is as much mine as it is yours. This is our celebration."
