Fans got an unexpected surprise when Beyonce showed up to Coney Island amusement park in Brooklyn, NY.

The 31-year-old singer was spotted riding on the famous Cyclone roller coaster with her stylist, Ty Hunter when fans noticed her.

According to NBC, Beyonce was smiling and raising her arms as the coaster dipped, as fans screamed and waived to her.

"I started freaking out because I'm in love with Beyonce," Ella Sklaw, a young fan on Brooklyn said.

"It's very exciting," Shawnette Duncan also of Brooklyn said. "She came to Brooklyn. Beyonce came to Brooklyn!"

Cameras and videographers were present to shoot the footage, and a fan confirmed that she was shooting for a new video entitled, "XO."

In an Instavideo obtained by a user entitled, daughterofthewolf, it shows Beyonce dancing with two street dancers.

"#beyonce making a guest appearance at #coneyisland tonight...oh and terry Richardson is here too...rumors of JZ...#fan," the user wrote.

Enstars reported earlier that Beyonce shot a video at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School, which is located on Clermont Ave and Vanderbilt. No word if the singer's appearance at Coney Island was for the same video.

Beyonce is no stranger to Brooklyn. Her rapper-husband, Jay Z is from BedStuy, Brooklyn.

He also referenced Bishop Loughlin high school in his song "Big Chips."

The mother of Blue Ivy recently wrapped up her US leg of her Mrs. Carter World Tour for the summer and will headline Budweiser's Made in America concert in Philly on Saturday.
